‘Coaching with Mastery’ Symposium

Glasgow, 10 November 2015

Well done the Association for Coaching, the University of Strathclyde and Embrion for their joint venture in setting up the ‘Coaching with Mastery’ Symposium at the Trades Hall in Glasgow on 10 November 2015.

This was an excellent sell-out event, featuring leading experts in the field including Professor Peter Hawkins from Henley Business School, Professor Jonathan Passmore, MD at Embrion, and several others. The sessions on using imagery and visioning in coaching, and mindfulness in coaching, were particularly interesting and I greatly enjoyed the exchange of ideas about the journey from ‘novice coach’ to coaching master and ‘coaching elder’.

The discussions and exercises were very thought provoking and have certainly made me think deeply about my own coaching practice. Excellent stuff. Let’s do it again sometime soon!
